About FanFic Survivor
What it is
FanFic Survivor is a daily, Wordle-style narrative survival game. Each day a single global scene from a movie or book franchise drops, and you walk through five stages of canon vs fanon choices.
One wrong choice ends the run and triggers a Sudden Death screen with an AI-generated alternative ending — your own little non-canon timeline. You get up to three attempts per day. Past challenges live in the Archive Vault. If the rules are new to you, the how-to-play guide covers it in a minute.
Fan tribute stance
FanFic Survivor is a non-commercial fan tribute. All characters, settings, and source material are property of their respective owners — we're fans paying homage, not a licensee.
Scene art and demise images are AI-generated in stylised, transformative styles rather than reproductions of film screenshots. Narrative text is generated to comment on and play with the source material in the spirit of fan fiction.
